After 3 successful years as Plan A’s Interior Designer, Diane became owner and principal of Plan A in September of 2009, purchasing the company from its founder, Carla K. Binswanger.

Before following her dream of becoming a designer, Diane spent 12 years running Excel Media, Inc., a client-based company which provided freelance support services to advertising
agencies, PR firms and broadcast clients throughout the country. This venture followed on her previous experience in various managerial roles in media, including as VP/Manager of Katz
Radio in Boston.

With her entrepreneurial spirit, her strong record of innovative achievement, her ability to understand the needs of clients, and her keen eye for style, Diane guides Plan A clients through every step of the process, regardless of whether they are building from scratch, renovating an office or dressing up a room. From floor plans to furnishings and fixtures, Diane formulates and orchestrates design concepts that are aesthetic, appropriate and functional.

In her spare time, Diane loves gardening, entertaining and spending time with her family and friends. Born in Upstate New York, Diane has spent the last 24 years in Boston.
